Упражнение для развития лексических навыков «Слова играют в прятки».

Учитель предлагает ученикам найти в предложениях спрятанные слова (названия животных, например). Тематика слов зависит от темы урока. Это упражнение лучше использовать для закрепления или актуализации лексических единиц темы. Ученики с высоким уровнем владения языком могут  дать описание найденных понятий. 

Hidden animals.

The names of well-known animals are hidden in the sentences. Try to find them. There can be several of them in one sentence.

For example: I’ll go at once to Ramsgate. Goat – an animal similar to a sheep but with longer legs and a thinner coat (козел). Ram – a male sheep (баран).

(Примечание. Ramsgate (Рамсгит) -  радушный курортный город-порт , являющийся частью острова Танет, находится в восточной части графства Кент, Великобритания.)
